J Davies Paving and Highways Division has more than 30 years experience in laying driveways, paving and patios. We can tarmac large areas such as tennis courts, public and private car parks. We also carry out white lining for car parks and highways.
Clients may select from a variety of styles and materials such as Tarmac finish, Brick and Block paving, York stone, Cobbles, Crazy paving and many Brushed Concrete finishes.
Pavement Lowering
J Davies is Local Authority approved for street works. We can carry out kerb lowering for pavement crossovers under the new Road and Street Works Act with full public liability.
All modifications to council or county council pavements or highways where crossovers are created, have to be certified by the Local Authority. Permission is granted to applicants only when details of searches for underground pipe work, electricity cables and other utilities have been provided. This involves carrying out searches with the relevant Utility companies. We undertake these searches on behalf of our clients. Searches normally take six weeks.
- Brickwork - We are able to undertake any brickwork involved in the construction of patios, garden walls, drives or pathways.
- Crossovers - We are local Authority approved and carry public Liability Assurance.
- White Lining - We are equipped to carry out hot thermoplastic and paint applied road markings for playgrounds, crossings, parking bays, pedestrian areas.
